Upskilling Graduates for Success

With Queen’s University, OCAD University, and Ontario Tech University

Project Overview

KnowledgeNow was hired to provide Lead Instructional Design services on three courses for a partnership across five Ontario universities.

Course topics were strategically selected to capitalize on institutional strengths and purposefully designed to respond to labour market trends. The set of online courses offer Ontario graduate students “just-in-time”, self-paced professional development to ensure they are prepared to enter a rapidly evolving labour market, locally and globally.

Each course is based on explicit learning outcomes and is pedagogically structured into four interactive modules that include rich media components, expert and peer videos, interactive infographics, self-assessments, scenario-based learning activities, and authentic experiential tasks.

Students will leave the course with new skills that set them apart and prepare them to cultivate well-being in their communities and workplaces.
