LMS Migration Case Study (Sakai to Brightspace)
Migrated & Modernized Nearly 100 Courses
Western Continuing Studies successfully migrated nearly 100 courses from Sakai LMS to Brightspace in just months using KnowledgeNow's automated migration technology, transforming what would have been a years-long manual process into an efficient, scalable solution.
Pilot Training Micro-Learning Course Case Study
Developed Aviation Training for Private Airline
KnowledgeNow partnered with a private airline, to design and develop a structured recurrent ground school training program for airline pilots, ensuring they remained proficient in critical aircraft systems and emergency procedures.
Accessible Instructional Design Case Study
Created Disability Training
The launch of the first 10 courses was exclusively designed and developed by KnowledgeNow who has made a meaningful impact on disability training and support across New Brunswick. This initiative has heightened awareness and understanding of disability issues, strengthened advocacy for inclusion and inclusive practices within organizations throughout the province.
Culturally Responsive Instructional Design Case Study
Designed Advancing Re(al)conciliation Courses
KnowledgeNow collaborated with the Director of the Indigenous Continuing Education Centre at the First Nations University of Canada and their team to assess existing offerings and devise a short-term plan prioritizing Indigenous course content. This initiative aimed to enhance the Centre’s offerings through the creation of the "FNUniv Indigenous Continuing Education Reconciliation Program."
Instructional Design for Microcredential Case Study
Created a Digital Fluency Accelerator Course
Development of bilingual, asynchronous courses for online and hybrid learners attending publicly-assisted colleges, universities, and Indigenous Institutes. The program consists of 5 modules that enable learners to acquire digital fluency skills. This micro-credential was piloted with a large group of educators and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Diploma & Certificate Curriculum Design Case Study
Black Experiences in Canada
Through eCampus Ontario’s Strategic Initiative, KnowledgeNow partnered with George Brown College to develop diploma and certificate programs where learners analyze the dynamics of Black cultural identity and its contribution to shaping Canada as a nation.
Hybrid Instructional Design Case Study
Interplan Trustee Education
In collaboration with Telus Health (previously LifeWorks) KnowledgeNow worked alongside the Interplan Trustee Education Committee (ITEC), on behalf of the boards of trustees of the four British Columbia public sector pension plans, to design and develop online and facilitated training sessions.
